His prognosis was grim, facing the daunting reality of never walking again or having control over basic functions. Faced with the difficult decision of euthanasia, Milo's family turned to Willow's Wings for a lifeline. Known for their transformative work with paralyzed dogs, the sanctuary became Milo's second chance.
Parsa suffered a severe unknown injury and was left unable to walk. After being rescued by Willow's Wings, he was brought to Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation. Dr. Christopher Frye, Instructor in the Section of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, explains Parsa's case and methods used to help him regain the ability to walk.
